The Zambian Bureau of Standards (ZABS) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI). ZABS is mandated to develop, publish, maintain or withdraw Zambian Standards and related normative publications serving the standardisation needs of Zambia.

ZABS participates and represents Zambia in international and regional bodies related to standards development.
