The Office for Promoting Private Power Investment (OPPPI) is a unit in the Ministry of Energy responsible for promoting private sector involvement in the development of power projects. OPPPI aims to facilitate the required approvals, permits and licenses for investors in the electricity sector. The OPPPI identifies projects, conducts feasibility studies and procures development and operation of energy services on behalf of the government.
