The Development Bank of Zambia (DBZ) is mandated by the Government of the Republic of Zambia under Section 12 (1) of the DBZ Act Chapter 363 to provide financial and non-financial solutions, such as technical assistance and advisory services, to enhance economic growth in the country. It  is regulated by the Bank of Zambia and supervised by the Ministry of Finance.
